Area youth recently had the opportunity to participate in their own event similar to adult runs like the Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, and Spartan Run.  The first-ever CES Muddy Warrior Run was held March 29, 2014, at the new CHS Softball Complex on Proper Street in Corinth.  The event was hosted by the CES PTO as a fundraiser to help buy healthy snacks for CES students. Youth Pre-K to age 18 were eligible to run the obstacle and challenge course.  The nearly one-mile course featured more than 25 challenges and obstacles and lots of opportunities to get MUDDY! Nearly 100 people volunteered their time to help with on-site registration, man safety stations, design and construct obstacles, act as spotters for obstacles, and assist at the start and finish lines. Each participant received a finisher medal and a "Muddy Warrior Run" finisher T-shirt.  This event would not have been possible without the help of the many volunteers and sponsors.  CSD, CES, and the CES PTO thank all of the individuals and businesses that helped to make the first "Muddy Warrior Run" such a huge success!
