The CHS percussion ensemble recently performed a piece entitled "Stinkin' Garbage" at the annual middle school Christmas concert.  Don't let the title fool you; their performance was anything but "garbage."  As you might have guessed, this percussion piece is not played on traditional percussion instruments, but on garbage cans instead.  If you missed this unique performance, you will still have a chance to see it at the spring band concert.  There are fourteen members in the ensemble (grades 9-12):  Shyron Rodgers, Kelby Corbin, Brandon Thompson, Dennis Dilworth, Logan Freeman, Moses Woods, Reid Thompson, Sir Charles Coffey, Adam Herford, Jawan Shields, Jacob Bradley, Jake Yancey, Hayden Scarbrough, and Malina Hunt.  The next piece they are preparing will be played on wooden stools; it's entitled "Stool Pigeon."
