Jerry Finger graduated from Easom High School and moved to Chicago where he accepted an entry-level position in the transportation industry. After many years and various jobs, he was promoted to national accounts manager for P.I.E. nationwide. In 1987 he purchased Waukegan Cartage Inc. The next twelve years he found himself volunteering for the Proviso School District 89, teaching students the many opportunities available in the transportation industry. After retirement in 1998, he moved back home to Corinth where he accepted the following volunteer opportunities: Planning and Adjustment Commission for the city of Corinth where he currently serves as chairperson, board member and past chair of the Community Development Council, past executive board member of the Alliance, and board member of the Black History Museum. He is a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist church and serves as chairperson of the Board of Trustees. Jerry has two children and four grandchildren.
