Congratulations to Millie Hill: January Rotary Student of the Month back button

Millie Hill, daughter of Mickey and Becky Hill, has been selected as Corinth Rotary

Student of the Month for January.

Ranked at tenth in her class of 140, Millie has a GPA of  4.09 and an ACT score of 25.

She will receive an early AICE diploma before graduation, along with 14 college

hours. She received the Cambridge Scholars award by earning a C on three AICE

exams in one year.

Millie is involved in many organizations on and off campus. She is vice-president of

the C-Club, and an active member in Drama Club, Environmental Club, FBLA,

Foreign Language Club, Historical Society, Key Club, and National Honor Society. She

is also involved in Pep Club where she was selected as the 2015 homecoming

sweetheart. She was a member of the varsity volleyball team for 3 years and the

cheerleading team for 4 years. She was a member of the ‘Grease’ and ‘Legally

Blonde’ musical casts in 2013 and 2015.

Millie participated in Junior Leadership Alcorn, Mayor’s Youth Council and the Trent

Lott Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Mississippi. She was a student

coordinator of the Susie Coleman Powderpuff Scholarship Fundraiser. Other

projects she participated in the community include helping with the Father

Daughter Ball, Coke Race, Films on Fillmore, Remembering Corinth: First Annual

Alzheimer’s benefit, Moon and Magnolias Benefit, and several other events. Her

classmates selected her Senior Class President, Sophomore Class Representative,

and Sophomore Class Maid in the 2013 Homecoming Court.

Millie has been accepted to the University of Mississippi, where she will be trying

out for the cheerleading team. However, she is still undecided about her major.
