Congratulations to Caroline Sleeper: Rotary Student of the Month for January back button

Caroline Sleeper has been selected as the Corinth High School Rotary Student of the

Month for January. She is the daughter of Ronnie and Natalie Sleeper. She is the

granddaughter of Harold and Nancy Patrick of Corinth and Ralph and Janice Cunningham of

Florence, Alabama.

At Corinth High School, Caroline is ranked 5 th in her class of 120 students. She has a

GPA of 4.32 and a composite ACT score of 31. Caroline has been notified that she will receive

her AICE Diploma, with Merit, from CHS in June.

She is a member of the 2017 Corinth High School Hall of Fame and was awarded the

Cambridge University IGCSE Medallion as well as the Cambridge University IGCSE

Outstanding Learner Award in 2016. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the

Thespian Society, and the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society. During her junior

year, she won an award for first place in her Public Speaking class and third place in her

AICE Sociology class.

Caroline currently serves as the Student Body President at Corinth High School, and

was voted Student Council Sweetheart during Homecoming. She is also the president of the

Interact Club. Her sophomore year, she was selected as CHS’s Ambassador at the Hugh

O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference at Millsaps College. And in 2016, she attended the

Rotary Youth Leadership Conference. She attended the Trent Lott Institute Emerging

Leaders Retreat at Ole Miss in December.

Caroline serves as the Vice Chair of the Mayor’s Youth Council and is an alumnus of

Junior Leadership Alcorn. She has volunteered for the Rotary Food Basket Project every

year since third grade, and it is her favorite of all the projects she participates in. She also

volunteers for the Rotary 5K race and Coke 10K race. She serves meals at Living Free

Ministries and works the Lighthouse Toy Store Project at Christmas. She was voted

Freshman Class Favorite by her peers. She actively participates in the musicals and

competition plays at CHS amd is an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes,

Interact Club, Science Club, and C-Club.

Caroline has been a member of the Warrior volleyball team since her 7 th grade year

and has played varsity since 8 th grade. She is a 5-year letter winner, was selected First Team

All-Division this season and was selected by her teammates as “Best Teammate” two years.

She also spent many winters playing for the Tupelo Juniors Volleyball Club.

Caroline is really excited about attending Mississippi State University in the fall,

where she has been accepted into the Shackouls Honors College. She is currently undecided

between Meteorology and Public Relations for her major.
