Diploma Options
In keeping with our mission to create a world-class 21st century education experience for all students, the Corinth School District offers 5 diploma pathways.
While many students begin a diploma pathway in 8th grade, students have the flexibility to switch pathways throughout their high school careers. School counselors and class sponsors help students register for classes in late spring for the upcoming school year. Each pathway has different requirements so please see the list below for more detailed information.

AICE Diploma
To receive this diploma, students must earn 7 AICE credits in addition to the requirements below. Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) courses can be compared to Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. The AICE diploma can be earned at a pass, merit or distinction level, based upon student scores on international exams.
The advantage of an AICE diploma is that students can earn up to a minimum of 18 hours of college credit during high school. This pathway provides CHS students with the most opportunity to earn college credit, saving them time and money in pursuing a college degree.
Additionally, AICE diploma recipients automatically receive scholarship money from University of Mississippi and Mississippi State. Many other colleges and universities award scholarship money because of the rigor of this diploma pathway.
To earn this diploma, students must:
- Achieve a passing score on Cambridge subject area exams in Mathematics, Biology, English Language and U.S. History.
