Cambridge Award Ceremony

Cambridge Award Ceremony
Laine Williams

Congrats to the 111 students from the Corinth School District received prestigious awards during a ceremony this morning at the Corinth High School (CHS).

Twenty seniors received Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) diplomas from Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge. To receive this diploma, these students earned at least seven credits in advanced AS and A level Cambridge classes across four disciplines (math/science, language, global perspectives and humanities).

Dr. Lee Childress, superintendent, said that the awards recognize the talent, dedication and commitment of both students and teachers. “Twenty seven percent of the Class of 2023 have earned four or more AICE credits. Corinth High School students and teachers should be commended for this outstanding student performance,” he said.
