Baker Hall, a senior at Corinth High School, signed his letter of intent to play soccer at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Hall is excited about this next step in his athletic career. “It feels really good,” he said. “I've worked really hard for this moment and to be able to play at the next level is a dream come true.”

“I'm really excited about Baker getting to play soccer at Northwest,” said John Ward Grace, head coach of Corinth’s varsity boys soccer team. “He had a really good senior year. I'm so proud of how he never gave up on and off the field. He set a goal of playing college soccer and did not stop working until he reached that goal. Baker is the type of teammate that you want on your team and I can't wait to see what he will do next season at Northwest.”

Hall is also looking forward to playing at a more competitive level. “I know that playing in college will be a lot faster and more competitive,” said Hall. “I'm also looking forward to making more relationships with new teammates and getting to become a part of a new team family.”

Hall strongly believes that his coaches and teammates have been a valuable part of his growth. “Coach Grace has prepared not only me but the whole team to play at a higher level through fast pace practices and regular film sessions,” Hall said. “He taught me to have a positive attitude and never give up on anything I do. Always try your best no matter how hard it may seem at the moment. It will be worth it if you give it your all. He taught me not only to be a good soccer player on the field, but has taught me how to be successful off the field as well.”

The future is bright for Hall and Corinth High School wishes him the best as he continues his athletic journey at the collegiate level.
