Thirty-nine Corinth Career and Technical Students Recognized

On April 16, Corinth High School recognized 32 students who completed a two-year Career and Technical Pathway at a Completion Dinner with their families.

Completers included Ben Austin, Alexis Bowling, Payton Burns, Tyler Buse, Kaden Byrd, Kelsee Carter, Hailey Caston, Leah Coffey, Zack Cole, Jackson Crawford, Akiya Davis, Kellie Esteban, Mynor Francisco, Vanessa Gaytan, Kenneth Hardin, Josue Hernandez, Kiara Holbrook, Cameron Johnston, Lynnleigh Joshlin, Emma Kate Marolt, Briana Palomeque, Melany Perez, Occoee Pina, Isaiah Prather, Gabriel Scruggs, Azora Shields, Azyia Shields, Robert Smith, Kinzley Smith-Tatum, Jayden Wilson, Ma'Corian Wyke and Ethan Young. Each student received a certificate.

Additionally, seven students completed their third year of Advanced Studies in Culinary Arts. Those students included Jacob Benitez, Dawson Dilworth, Susan Sanchez, Nolee Schnabl, Kevyn Smith, Alexandra Stafford and Bobby Stewart.  

“I am very proud of these students for their dedication, perseverance, and passion that have brought this moment of recognition for them,” said Dr. John Barnett, Corinth School District superintendent. “They have embraced the opportunities provided by these programs, demonstrating not only their academic excellence but also their commitment to acquiring practical skills and knowledge that will serve them well in their future careers. We are very proud of these students and honored to celebrate their accomplishments.”

The Culinary Arts students prepared, cooked and served the meal which included grilled children and smoked pork tenderloin, bacon-wrapped asparagus, seasoned green beans, scalloped potatoes, homemade rolls and banana pudding. 

Currently, Corinth High School’s Career and Technical pathways include Culinary Arts, Law and Public Safety, Engineering and Robotics, Digital Media/Video Production, Educator Preparation, Health Care and Clinical Services and Horticulture Sciences. These pathways emphasize hands-on practical application and experience including job-shadowing, clinical experiences and achieving industry-focused certificates such as ServSafe Manager.
