The Corinth School District is pleased to announce Kevin Williams as the new Athletics Director. With 14 years of experience as a teacher and coach, Williams is dedicated to improving the lives of all the student-athletes he serves and the communities that support them.

Williams has been at Corinth High School since 2021, serving as a health teacher, head baseball coach, and assistant football coach. Previous experience includes working as a college and career readiness teacher and head baseball coach at Booneville High School from 2015-2021. He also worked as a 7th grade social studies teacher and assistant football and baseball coach at Corinth Middle School from 2012-2015.

Recent career achievements include being selected for Tomorrow’s 25 Class of 2026 Coaching Cohort, 2021 MAC Coach of the Year, 2021 NEMCABB Coach of the Year and 2021 3A State Champion.

Williams has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Mississippi College and a bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education from the University of North Alabama.

His goals as the new Athletics Director include serving and supporting student-athletes in the pursuit of their academic and athletic goals; serving and supporting fellow coaches; and building, establishing and strengthening community support for the athletic programs. He plans to manage financial, personnel and facility resources; recruit, develop and maintain high-quality personnel; and promote Corinth’s athletic programs across the community, state and nation.

“Mr. Williams has a clear vision and plan to move the athletics department forward,” said Dr. John Barnett, Corinth School District superintendent. “He brings a passion for his work, a great pride in being a Corinthian, and a love of the Corinth School District.”

Williams will begin his new role on July 1, 2026.
