Show your Warrior Pride!
The Corinth School District Foundation announces the first-ever Corinth School District license plate! This specialty plate will allow community members to showcase their Warrior pride while directly supporting the school.
The Foundation must secure 300 pre-paid applications from community members before the Mississippi Department of Revenue can begin official production. “The CSD Foundation is extremely excited to coordinate the Corinth Warrior car tag!” said Ken Williams, CHS Class of 1987 and Foundation board member. “It is a special way for all Warriors to celebrate and support our district and support the numerous student programs of the Foundation.”
The financial impact of the program is substantial. Each specialty tag requires a $33 pre-order fee, from which $24 goes directly back to the Corinth School District Foundation. If the community successfully meets the 300-tag minimum requirement, it will generate over $7,000 annually in recurring funds to enhance the educational environment for Corinth teachers and students. “When an individual chooses a Corinth Warrior car tag, they are making the decision to support a student, teacher, or program within the CSD,” said Katy Stanley, treasurer of the Foundation. “The funds will directly impact teacher appreciation efforts, special projects, field trips, positive behavior goals, as well as attendance rewards on all three campuses. The Foundation has been a game changer by giving the teachers and staff the funds they need to enhance the daily lives of students.”
Founded in 2015, the Corinth School District Foundation is a 501c3 organization that financially supports the school district to reach every child through funding innovative and creative opportunities and resources that will enhance their future academic achievement.
Applications are available to download at www.corinth.k12.ms.us/tag. Additionally, a paper application will be sent home with each CES and CMS student the first week of school. Payment methods include Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, exact cash (no change available), or checks made payable to the Corinth School District Foundation. Completed forms and payments can be dropped off directly at the front offices of CES, CMS and CHS.
The application deadline is Oct. 1, 2026, so be sure to complete an application and submit payment to secure your spot on the list. “The Foundation is able to operate only through donations from supporters of the Corinth School District,” said Stanley. “The money raised from the Corinth Warrior tag would give the Foundation the ability to go above and beyond for the teachers and students for years to come.”
Additionally, the Warrior tag program is not limited to Alcorn County residents; applicants who live in any county in the state of Mississippi can pre-order a specialty CSD plate. Once the 300-application milestone is reached, the paperwork and fees will be submitted to state officials, and the Mississippi Department of Revenue will take approximately three to four months to manufacture the plates. Once completed, applicants will be notified and can pick up their new CSD tag at their local county tax collector’s office. The Warrior tag program has been in progress for a year, beginning with getting the Mississippi Legislature to authorize the school district to obtain a specialty tag. “The CSD Foundation Board would like to thank Representative Brad Maddox for his help getting this legislation across the finish line,” said Stanley.
The Foundation is excited to see the Corinth community support the school district with these specialty plates.
